Baruch Dayan Emes Dovid Luna

Was just notified that a good friend who recently left Yeshiva was killed in a car accident. I don't know what to say. I just want to cry and wake up from this bad dream.
Dovid we love you and miss you.

A Shining Time Station

This was the end credits for Shining Time Station a show I looooved as a little kid.
I was sitting in zal when suddenly I remembered these visuals (which I havent seen since I'm little.)
This is exactly how I feel right now.
I want to laugh and cry and brech and scream at the top of my lungs.

Get out of jail free!

Ive been complaining to my parents and friends for awhile (+100 points to those who told me I need to bounce awhile ago) and after finally complaining and talking with my mashpia enough he told me to leave the yeshiva. (Actually when I told him I want to leave he said "I'm surprised it took you this long to say that")

So... the problem is there isn't anywhere for me to go (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!).
So it looks like I'll be headed back to hicktown after Purim and getting a job.
I had to promise that I will make a seder of learning and that I will get smicha next year.

There probably isn't going to be much snacks or food in my near future so maybe I will finally lose some weight.

Things I'm excited about:

My tatty
Getting a driver's license and a car (I'm 21 so I think its finally time)
Recreational things to do and friends to do them with
Hockey Games
Kosher restaurants

Things I'm not excited about:

Not being able to eat most of the food at my house
Feeling like a quitter
My shul
Not being able to see all my new friends

Ugh should I stay or should I go now???

You didnt know what it was and didnt ask???

Learning hilchos borer in Shulchan Aruch.
Halacha mentions a plant called Tormasin and a uniqueness of it which causes that taking the bean from the pod to be considered Borer.
Now I have no idea what Tormasin are so I asked a yungerman if he knows what it is.
He said "I dont know. I never came across it."
WHAT????
How can you learn this halacha, not understand what its speaking about, and not ask anyone??
For all you know maybe you have been doing the melocho deoraisa of Borer all the time!!!!

It seems to be some species of plant called Lupines.
Be ware.
